SGCC’S COVID-19 RULES AND POLICIES
You have probably heard by now that Governor Cooper has signed a statewide Stay At Home order. Many businesses are shutting down; however, golf courses are allowed to remain open provided we practice the physical distancing regulations.
IF YOU FEEL SICK – PLEASE STAY AT HOME!
Follow all recommended guidelines for containing the virus.
What we are doing at South Granville
ONE PERSON PER CART. (Exception: Family members living together may ride together.)
Do Not Remove Flag Sticks when putting. Practice your own “gimme” rules on tap-in’s.
Maintain proper physical/social distancing at all times
No Congregating in the Pro Shop, Clubhouse or parking lots before or after your round.
No More than 6 golfers in the Pro Shop at any time. Please wait outside until it’s your turn.
No Starting at Hole 10 without permission from the Pro Shop prior to starting your round. We are trying to maintain group spacing. If there is a back up on the first tee, please be patient.
Use of bunker or trap rakes is optional. Please smooth the sand with your foot if you do not wish to rake the bunker or trap.
We have removed water coolers, and ball washers from the golf course.
We will not be selling hot dogs or any non-packaged food so plan accordingly. Beverages and snacks can still be purchased at the Pro Shop.
When returning your cart, please remove all trash (bottles, cans, wrappers etc.) and dispose of them in the proper receptacles (recycling or trash).
We are not placing scorecards and pencils on the golf carts. Scorecards and pencils can be requested in the Pro Shop.
Additionally, we announced that weekend tee times are required. Member tee times are from 8:00 am to 9:50 am. All other times are available for members or guests but members will get priority if reserved by 5:00 pm Tuesday. Guests may reserve tee times starting Wednesday morning.
Again, we ask for your patience if carts are not immediately available when you arrive. We will do our best to get you on the course as quickly as possible.
